cannot detect

what is this? I was told that it was a backup device and that Windows 2000 would detect it, but it didn't. All I want to know is where can I download the drivers and some info on this thing.

Sorry , can't make reference to series 3300 . What is the " Replace with Compaq Spare " number on the device ?

I am having similar problem to Wizard. My Compaq Series 3300 unit has no other information other than electrical information and a small barcode possibly the serial number.
