colorado t3000 using CB II backup freezes

I have two t3000 tape drives. One uses the FC20 controller card and one runs off of the floppy controller. Both work fine for backup and restore on one of my Win95 boxes using CB II. However, on another Win95 box I have, the CB II backup software freezes as soon as the START button is clicked. The strange thing is that they worked back in Feb 2003 and I can even use them to restore from tapes I made using them back then. Any thoughts on why they would no longer work would be appreciated.
