drive no longer recognized
Hi, since I've rackmounted my formally pedestral PL3000, the internal DLT 15/30 drive is no longer recognized by scsi scan and all of the left hand side lights on the drive are blinking. Changing SCSI adapter and / or cable did not show any positive results.
I'm getting desperate !

Re: drive no longer recognized
I am having the same problem with a 35/70 DDT drive in a PL3000. It was working fine, and then the lights on the left hand side just started blinking after a rebut. I have changed drives and cables, still with no resolution.

Re: drive no longer recognized
Replace the 15/30 DLT drive .
Run diags on the system with the 35/70 DLT .

Re: drive no longer recognized
I've got the same problem with two 35/70 DLT drives out of the four in a Tape Array II chassis on a Proliant 7000 server, that were working before and are now not even recognized as devices on a SCSI chain.
