Hi,
Can you please describe the problem and your enviroment more in detail. DataProtector normally NOT need any drivers loaded.

Re: driver for msl6000 changer

Update your scsitab file. Not sure what the comment regarding DR accomplishes. You don't say what OS you are using or what "DR procedure" you are trying.

Re: driver for msl6000 changer

Go to services in computer management and stop and disable (set it to manual) removable storage manager. Then reboot (if possible) and rescan library device with DP. After this go to device manager and check which driver got loaded for changer and if there's any

Re: driver for msl6000 changer

OmniBack II & Data Protector do NOT support having the Windows driver for a medium changer device enabled. It should be disabled (not deleted, unless NT4) if listed as a Medium Changer device.

Is this the "CONFIGURATION backup fails to collect System Recovery Data when some Unknown Media Changer driver resides inside Media Changers class in Windows Device Manager." issue? If so, call support and get SSPNT500_008. Don't know why it never rolled out officially.

Or do the easy thing and go to www.hp.com, click on support & drivers, enter MSL6060L2, download and install the driver, and then disable it.
