Same findings as I had. Thanks for the update.

I did point that out in my original reply:

=> Note: HP is not providing support
=> for the router SNMP/MIBs going forward (including the e1200),
=> as we have other solutions for providing tape library manageability.

That is true, and so far the SNMP functionality has been left in the HP unique firmware. HOWEVER (which I didn't clarify earlier), no specific testing and integration has been done with SNMP by HP for quite some time, as we utilize a different approach for device management (using the StorageWorks Interface Manager product). Documentation for the more recent products (e.g. e1200) changed to reflect that SNMP is not supported. Since the firmware between the M2402 and the e1200 is the same, there is no reason it should not work, however there is also no testing being done to ensure that it does work. It may be possible that some of the customization in the firmware for the e1200 does in fact disable SNMP.

So, my appology for not clarifying some of this earlier. My hope was that you could use information from the M2402 and Crossroads directly, and take advantage of SNMP even though HP does not officially support it, but from your comments, it does not appear to work.

And my appology for your time lost playing with this as well.
