error mesage when restoring exchange to a new server
We have created a DR environment, we have identical AiO600's and tape systems. We built a new exhnage server to test restoring should a disaster occur.
We have taken the Exchange backup (First Sotrage group)from the production systems and want to restore the Exchange database to the DR environment. When we restore the exhnage databse using the restore specific wizard we get the followinf in the log with the accompaning error message
network\aio600\filessystem\c:\backup\first storage group\963519670
error 15 the name is invalid rst:exchange
we then get this for all the subdirectories all the way down to the priv1.edb and priv.stm files.
Any idea what we are doing wrong

Re: error mesage when restoring exchange to a new server
I an assuming that us have used the AiO utilities to migrate the Exchange data to the AiO and are backing it up from the AiO.
Are you doing the backup and restore using the AiO's backup utilities or using Data Protector Express directly?
I'd recommend using the AiO backup and restore.
