hd server 4000 error message in restoring selective files.

hd server 4000 error message in restoring selective files.

I have a hd server 4000 connected to an external DAT40 Tape drive. In trying to restore selective files I continually get this error message: "Restore Successful" Error! Tape Not Ready"
Why it says "Restore Successful is beyond me because the file is not restored. Any help would be appreciated.
