help me about HP Open View data protector

I use HP open view data protector 5.5 with Autoloader 1x8 Ultrium 232. when I use Data protector, in media & device, I use command " delete slots " , after that I uninstall data protector, restall windows 2000 advanced server. I check device by hp tool, device not detect slots of tape. sometime appear errors
" Device \\.\ changer0 is opened exclusively by other applicaion and service, it can access untill it release "
HP 1x8 Autoloader: errors : Device not accessible, can not deternind class driver or opened exclusively "
Something error about " RSM ". Please help me ???

RSM refers to removable storage service. You should go into windows services and disable it

I 've stoped RSM but device not detect, can you explain to me why HP Tool do not detect slots and how to detect slots again ?? please help me !!
