how do i configure the ESL tape library ultrium drives locally on hp-ux server

Hi All

How do I map the Ultrium drives in ESL9000 tape library so that I can see them locally thro ioscan -fnC tape command. Can you suggest me all the steps I need to do so that the drive is configured locally.

Deo,

You will have to create a zone consisting of your FC cards or your server and your library in your Mcdata Switch. ( I assume you are using that) Only doing this will make your drives available to your host.

You also need to have the stape driver configured in the kernel
