how to change a drive scsi id of 10/180 library?

dear all,
i have do some configuration on a 10/180 library, and now i could not ioscan drive 0, which is on the same scsi path with the robot, and this path is linked to port 0 of the scsi-fibre switch, and drive 1 is linked to port 1 of the scsi-fibre switch. now in ioscan output, i could read the robot, whose id is 0, and drive 1, whose id is 1, but no drive. can i just change the scsi of all these three parts? their id used to be 0 for drive 0, 1 for robot and 2 for drive 1, which i recalled. or is there problem with drive 0?

thanks a lot

Hope this helps!

Re: how to change a drive scsi id of 10/180 library?

hi Torsten,
i swap drive 0 and drive 1, and caused the problem above, so i set scsi id at front panel, and this time, ioscan is ok, i can read all 8 drives and the robot, and 7 of them are ok, except drive 0, when i unload the tape, i said again: device busy. it seems that it was not a drive hardware problem(cause i have swap drive 0 and drive 1). so what could it be?

hi Torsten,
there is no application that hanging to make the drive 0 busy, i think it was caused by mass of scsi changing.
