I'm still trying to understand what you're trying to fix. The Backup Exec screen shot seems to show it can see the drive OK though the sub-pane is saying 'no media'. That would seem reasonable to me if there really is no media in the drive or if it's just not formatted yet. What are you expecting to see?
I'm asking if you can run the LTT device performance test because that will show that everything is working on the drive side - Drivers, HBA, cabling, drive, media. Once you've done that you know that any issues are with the configuation of the application.
If not then at least we know which direction to go in; Drivers, HBA, ... etc.

thxs once again for reply, yes that is the problem i am trying to solve, everything seems ok, i mean Drivers and i have also installed the patch that other fellow recommends. But still i got message that media is offline or not available.
I have tried t formate it as well, have changed the catrige as well, and i will use HP Data Express
