hp surestore 40 st (c1716t) firm update

need to update de firmware version from 3404 to 3535 and cant get de .frm file, how can i acomplish this.

The firmware file is available in L&TT on windows, if you use 'get files from web' under the file menu.

Select 'show firmware for all supported products'.

If you have L&TT on HP-UX, you can get the firmware by installing LTT on a windows host (without the device connected), and move the file over. Alternately, you can get it from the following ftp address:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/information_storage/software/ltt/firmware/LTT_C1716T_3535.frm

L&TT itself is available at www.hp.com/support/tapetools.

This particular file should also work with STM (however DLT drive and bridge firmware files differ between L&TT and STM).
