Re: hp surestore autoloader problem with arcserve2k

hi
e6300 is a scsi time out error
http://supportsearch.ca.com/query.html?qt=e6300+&col=fullsite&qc=fullsite

you speak about Ultrium,
but c1557a is a enquiry string for a dds3 autoloader,
what is your configuration?
are the errors related to the scsiport connected to which device?

what is the scsi controller? did you have last FW and scsi driver?

bye

Re: hp surestore autoloader problem with arcserve2k

Yes, definately let us know if the failure was on the DDS3 autoloader, or with the HP LTO drive.

You can use HP Library & Tape Tools to update firmware on both of these devices. Ultrium firmware has been updated a few times since initial release.

You can also use LTT to run a read/write test, and review device error logs.

FYI, I beleive the HP LTO driver you mentioned is current.
The journey IS the reward.
