installing external SureStore24 in W2K Pro

The system recognizes a C1556D SureStore24 as a C1537A.
This is the first time I have had a SCSI incorrectly identified.
Is there something I can do to correct this?

Thanks, Tracey

Tracey,
C1556D is a product number as SureStore 24e, but C1537A is a drive product number (drive is a component of DAT24e unit). So this is correct, do not worry

Hi,

There is no difference between the two. I think one is the number for the internal drive, the other for the external.
