This may work, no guarantees. You ARE dealing with a ten year old tape drive. Cheaper to backup your data to a CD writer because you may not be able to find tapes for this anymore.

Re: jumbo 1400

I just happen to have a Jumbo 1400 sitting in my HP Pavilion PC, which I am ln now.

You are not looking for drivers. You are looking for an app. As Lewis indicated, his Colorado backup app should work. I do know Seagate backup exec works and Colorado backup for win 95 works. The native backup app that ships with the os does not work. Good luck,
Don

Re: jumbo 1400

the zip device CB2V80 seems to work.
I had made a copy of the register for the tape backup using bitmap images from before the crash and in compairing it,it is the same on the registry as before.
I started a backup and it was working,
detected the tape jumbo 1400.
I had to stop cause my wife wanted
me to cut the grass.
I will test it some more later today.
thank you , I appreciate it.
