lower than a novice with jumbo 1400

I have a pent 111 with win98se 4???? mem I am trying to use a flopy connection and no FC 20 card. device man does not reconize tape. I have a downloaded from hp CBII. not sure if hooking up proper. any help appricated????

most likely you need the FC 20 which, of course, is no longer available. My advice would be to forget this drive and put it back in the closet with the 5 1/4 inch floppy drives.
