problem with SDLT on HP9000 v 10.2

Mi problem is the next one:

I have a SDLT Quantum tape drive. I need to install it on HP 9000 server with UX Operating System. The version of the system is 10.2. The page of quantum dont talk nothing about the configuration on HP9000/400 k series. Only have steps for configure the tape drive on HP9000/700 and /800, but the server is 600.

My question is: Are there one patch for SDLT for HP9000/600 k series?¿The SDLT tape drive is supported by the server?

Are the any SDLT 220 with support for these types of servers

Do you have patch PHKL_22855 applied? It provides device support for SDLT220

hi david, just so you are clear the k class server come under the 800's catorgory.

700's for workstations and 800's for the servers.

Nothing special you should need to do just connect the drive to the correct interface and make sure your patches are upto date
