Re: re-calibration ???

hi
to run recalibration, you need to connect you dat on a nt/w2k server and install LTT (Library and Tape Tools).
with this instrument you can load a script from HP site and then run it on the dat 24. this operation is only needed with r/w errors and if LTT report suggest you the recalibration

The LTT scripts that are in HPUX are found in the directory /opt/ltt/scripts - how do you run these?

LTT suggested to run the recalibration script - and there's nothing in LTT that says "Run Script" or something to that nature.

Thanks.

Re: re-calibration ???

when you go to the tools menu and click on run script you will find it there. Why don't you call a support center, we will walk you through it

Re: re-calibration ???

Unfortunately you can run scripts only from windows version of LTT. So please reconnect drive to windows machine (Adaptec 2940UW for DAT8/DAT24 and Adaptec 29160lp for DAT40) and install windows version of LTT
