hi guys , i had a bad exp connected a quantum DLT 8000 to my hp servers..

now i want purchase a new DLT to connect to the SCSI2 port on the core I/O card on the rp5470.... can i do this?? whats the best solution? i am running HP-UX 11i v1 with 9i RAC on PA-RISC machined 875MZ

Any new DLT should be LVD. Have a look at

Hi,
I had a flyer through the mail which said DLT8000 technology is being phased out soon. If it is an option for you, might it be an idea to go for LTO or LTO-2.
