restore netware files

The story is:

We have a DLT8000 tape connect to a netware server 5.1 with backupexec veritas 9.1, if we try to restore files made on a dlt8000 on a different server:netware 4.1 with backup exec 8.1 some files are restore corrupted, if we restore those files with the redirection to a diffentent server without the option conservt three 90% of the same files are ok but still some files can be restore but when we try to open or copy the file, we get a message on the novell consiole saying the files is corrupt

Where is the bug ?

From experience, I would guess it's Veritas.

Are the files that are corrupt compressed files?

I would also be nice to know youre NetWare patch level. (NWCONFIG - Products). There was som changes in Novell Media Manager in the latest supportpacks.

Is BackupExec running on the NetWare server?
