Hello all
We're facing a software error from netbackup running win2k on proliant connected to SAN . The backup dev is one MSL6060 ( to SAN ).
This software was upgraded from v 4.5 to 6.0MP4 , but it was running fine . SAN dev ,and san switchs are fine . So please :
Is there any tool to check hardware sanity
without passing through netbackup software.
Something like a HOT backup on SAN from win2k to the MSL6060 ?
One Unix system connected to our SAN , "tar" cmd run fine with no error .
Many thanks
SAM

Solution
Hi Sam,
You should probably look at using Library & Tape Tools (L&TT) available here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=316040&prodNameId=1849284&swEnvOID=181&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=co-47085-2
to check everything is working OK.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
