superstore ultrium 230 external
We have the superstore but cannot get NT to recognise a tape drive. Have downloaded the drivers but get event id: 7026 Source: Service Control Manager Type: Error Description: The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: hplto

You are using the latest driver for the drive ?http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpsurestor24426_swen.html
Have you installed library and tape tools yet? If this program detects the drive you can use it to update the firmware.
Also i would like you to check out scsi devices in control panel. There you should find the installed scsi adaptors and the tapedrive should be there also because it is a scsi devices.
