hi kenan, i was away for a day.

when i delete the autochnager from legato and reconfigure it again, there is still the problem about searching the non existing second drive, since there is just 1 drive... autochanger simply cannot be enabled because of this. attached im sending u the screenshot of inquire command result.

We discussed offline that I didn't provide enough information about "Reset Defaults"

Using the web interfact "http:// you can select a tab called "Configuration" and under that there is a tab called "Restore Defaults" then there is a selection for "Restore Factory Defaults"

The MSL 2024/4048 libraries are designed to remember drives after they are removed from the library to prevent having an application error if you have to remove a drive for repair. As a side effect of that behavior you have to issue "Restore Defaults" to clear the information about that drive if the library ever reports a drive that will not be put back in.

Is there any Driver available for the Medium Changer in MSL 2024/4048.

As it shows Unknown Medium Changer in Device Manager.

Try connecting to Windows Update for the driver. If this does not work I have uploaded the Server 2003 driver in the following thread:
