what is the default FC link mode of ultrium 960?

what is the default febric link mode of ULTRIUM 960? is it FC-LOOP? if it is, how can I change this mode as FC-SW?

Can you explain exactly what hardware you've got please.

An Ultrium 960 usually has a SCSI interface, not fibre channel...

My tape drives is OEM by SUN StorageTek, these drives are installed in STKL700, and named â hp lto3â driver, the FC port is 4GB, link to CISCO 9506 FC switchï¼ and in this switch, the port type is FL-PORT, we want change it as F-PORT, what can I do it?
We set this port as F-PORT in FC switch, but the drive cannot login.
