4 10 G ports

what type of performance would i get if i bonded all 4 x 10G ports into 1 single interface ?

would it be 40G total ? What is the load balance algorithim being used?

this is a 10G iSCSi infrastrucutre

10G SAN

10G NIC's on my ESXi hosts

Re: 4 10 G ports

The LACP protocol only works when it is configured on both the network switch and StoreOnce end of the connection.
This bonding mode is also known as LACP and requires a special external switch configuration.
It provides a link aggregation solution, increasing the bond physical bandwidth, but only works if all the ports in the bond are
connected to one switch or switches joined by an inters witch link, LACP is Recommended when One wants to increase throughput to the StoreOnce Appliance
This mode provides failover and bandwidth aggregation.
However performance improvements will only be seen when using multiple source servers.
