we are having HP StorageWorks 6600-series in our environment and it is showing the below issue..
Total Capacity: 0 GB
Cartridges: 0
Maximum number of cartridges per Storage Lun: 1024
Number of Storage Luns: 18
Extent Size: 32 MB
but we have space around 40TB, could anyone help what went wrong and how can we rectify this issue?
P.S. This thread ahs been moevd from Tape Backup (Small and Medium Business) to Disk-Based Backup. - Hp Forum Moderator

SolutionSluns 3, 4 and 5 are missing.
Please check for issues on Enclosure with ID 56.
Tape drives created under different virtual libraries donot have lun number assignment from 1.
Tape drives 40 and 53 share the same lun id.
Tape drives 40 and 43
Better thing to do is restart emulations.
that should clear the gaps in lun numbering. This may affect the HP UX hosts which need to be reconfigured with the new lun id's.

Thanks you so much, we have changed the disk as mentioned and now VLS is up and running.
