HP Storeonce LTO-5 emulation
Hi,
We have a HP Storeonce set up as a VTL on the SAN with LTO-5 drives. When we backup to the tape drives we get 1.5TB per tape. Is there a way to enable to the tape media compression?
Thanks
Andrew

Re: HP Storeonce LTO-5 emulation
The native capacity of LTO-5 is 1.5TB, but why not change media type to LTO-6 with native 2.5TB?
Compression always depends on the data itself. Try to zip a zip-file!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
