HPE HPE Recovery Manager Central (RMC) Express snapshot

Hi,

A clinet has noticed when he creates express protect it will only do a once off snapshot that you select. Is there a way to automate this so it takes a express protect of the newest snapshots? He has tried reading the manual but could not find any information.

Click on create express protect, then lower down that particular window, you should find a 'schedule' option. Select that, along with 'create new snapshot' rather than 'use existing' and you have a regular, recurring snap+backup.
