Unable to reconnect to D2D2500i
Our D2D2500i crashed last night. I had to do a dirty restart to get it to respond. Now I am unable to get an iSCSI connection to the device. I have updated the MS iSCSI initiator to version 2.8, I have re-entered the target portal information, double-checked the Node Names, and everything is a match. Still, no targets are showing ... HELP

Re: Unable to reconnect to D2D2500i
I got a call back from HP. This is apparently an issue with the firmware. If deduplication is enabled on the virtual tape library, then you may experience issues re-connecting to the iSCSI target for a period of time.
Creating a new virtual library without deduplication will get you reconnected to the device so you can do backups while waiting for either the original target to come alive or a firmware fix from HP.
