Use AiO 1200 as disk backup server

Is there a reason to not use the AiO 1200 as a disk backup server? Only to additionally install Data Protactor Express Server?

If I compare prices incl. software the AiO1200 is the cheapest option. A ProLiant server with disk array is more expansive and a D2D4000 is not really required for my application.
