VLS9000 Error Occurred
I just update the firmware of the vls 9000 that I have and I get following error when going to see the cartridges >> "Error occurred"
We have gone from version 2.3.0 to 3.4.0.
we can make copies on cartridges that are created, they are 50, but from the application "HP Command View VTL" nothing.
The problem will come when you want to expand the VLS. We can not create more cartridges.
What could be happening?
I stopped and started throughout the VLS in an orderly manner, first and then the node enclosure.
In the event there is no error or warning
Thanks,

Re: VLS9000 Error Occurred
Did you install the 116_noreboot patch before upgrading to 3.4.0 firmware.
Did you also consider the entry in the release note:
If you are upgrading from VLS firmware version 2.x, you must first resize your cartridges to a smaller size. See â Managing Cartridgesâ in your VLS user guide.
The entire reease notes can be found here:
"http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=3741183&swItem=co-87693-1&prodNameId=3741190&swEnvOID=54&swLang=8&mode=4&idx=0#prerequisites"
Copy everyting between the "" and paste it in a browser.

Re: VLS9000 Error Occurred
I think it is already to late for that.
My suggestion would be to call hp and ask support.
