Re: Query: storeonce 5100 upgrade
Hello @Ummar_Bhat ,
Capacity upgrade should be ordered as per the defined SKU's. Refer to quickspecs to identify and order the appropriate the capacity upgrade kits (SKU).
StoreOnce 5100 Quickspecs: https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/gethtml.aspx?docname=c04328820&ver=28
StoreOnce 5100 Capacity upgrade guide: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=c04919538
To answer your question, there will be no changes to already stored data. Any new writes post storage expansion will include the newly added storage. As the expired data is purged from backup application space is reclaimed on the originally configured segments.

Re: storeonce 5100 upgrade
Hi Ummar,
Attaching a new enclosure (D3610) to the StoreOnce system will just increase the storage capacity in support of the existing configuration. The additional storage capacity can be used either for existing catalyst stores or new catalyst stores.
Thank you
