450GB SAS 15K DP Firmware
We got a replacement drive as above for our LH SAN, it has firmware HPD2 on it, all of our other drives have HPD4 and i'd like to get this the same.
The problem is I can't find HPD4 on the HP website anywhere or the firmware CD, does anyone know where i can obtain it.
I was going to put the drive in an MSA60 to patch it before putting it in our LH SAN.
Thanks
Jeff

Re: 450GB SAS 15K DP Firmware
Use the disk model name for searching.
An example for EVA disks:
BD14656ABC HP0A
BD14658225 HP04
Both are the same disk related to speed and size, but different disk models using different firmware.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: 450GB SAS 15K DP Firmware
But the model number is different to the other drives in the cage, however, the spare part number and disk etc are the same.
Would this sound reasonable?

Re: 450GB SAS 15K DP Firmware
This is what I told you.
Maybe there is no update and the drive has the current version.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
