Application Aware Snapshots with VM across multiple volumes

Hi,

We have a number of VMs that have virtual disks stored on different datastores/volumes.  For example a SQL server where the OS drive is on one volume, the SQL data on another volume and the SQL logs on a third volume.  Each of these volumes has an app aware remote snapshot replicated to a DR site.

Ths means that the remote copy of the VM will have its drives out of sync as the snapshots may have been created at different times.  is there away to have the 3 volumes snapshots synced with the application aware snapshot or would i have to put all of the VMs disks onto the same volume?

How does everyone else handle VMs across multiple volumes?
