Different Emulex 10 Gb NIC driver versions between nodes after upgrading to version 10.5
Today I performed an upgrade from version 10.0 to 10.5 on al the nodes.
After the upgrade the nodes complain about different NIC settings,
but all the nodes are the configured the same with LACP, flow-contol and mtu settings...
To be sure I removed the bond and now some (new nic driver- version) nodes cannot be configured for flow-control, mtu etc....says: "not supported"
setup:
8 x P4500 nodes with 10 GBe adapter upgrade
1 Managment Group
1 Cluster
now i checked the nic driver versions between the nodes and...a big difference!
good working nodes: firmware: 4.0.360.15
driver: 4.0.359.0
new version nodes: firmware: 4.0.360.15
driver: 4.1.450.7
is it possible to downgrade to the 4.0.359.0 version?
anyone?
