Does the Lefthand DSM support Round Robin
Hi, I have a Windows 2003 server with two NIC's connected to the Lefthand SAN using MS iSCSI Initiator and the Lefthand DSM. Am I right in saying that only failover is supported as I can't configure Round Robin?!
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Does the Lefthand DSM support Round Robin
Hi Stuart,
The combination of MPIO and DSM supports failover and load balancing.
Multiple iSCSI connection opens while you connect to an iSCSI Target.
This is reflected within the CMC-GUI where you can see that first a management connection established - and after a data connection to each node.
Important: dont use any kind NIC Failover drivers on the initiator-host.
regards,

Re: Does the Lefthand DSM support Round Robin
Thanks Rene,
So how do you configure load balance? I have followed the instructions for the HP Lefthand DSM but when I look at activity on the cards, data is only going through one of them. I have looked in the CMC and there is a session to each card but shouldn't I see activity on both nics?
Thanks.
