Re: E02040102 EID_LOGGING_FULL

It randomly appeared on a P4300 8tb MDL node.

I rebooted the node, it seems to have gone away.

I've sent support a log bundle which hopefully will contain something useful.

Re: E02040102 EID_LOGGING_FULL

IT seems that the error is generated by the hydra logs...may be the threshold is crossed...we might have to login to the backend using putty and clear var/log entries manually

Re: E02040102 EID_LOGGING_FULL

Thanks Sudhakar.

OK, I have a case logged under case 4623480928 for a different issue (manager query), but the person dealing with it, "A, Shaseena (SWD EMEA)" is going to log this separately I believe.

It's SANiQ v9.

These nodes are brand new so what we did was to use the restore CD/DVD to reimage them rather than upgrade. Once in a management group they were updated using the CMC.

So effectively they are brand new "out the box" on 9.0 + patches.

I have a log bundle, if you're able to contact me via email I'm happy to send it but prefer not to upload it here as I don't know what info may be in it.

I'm having the same issue. Was this issue ever resolved?

Re: E02040102 EID_LOGGING_FULL

I called HP Technical Support and according to the resolution in the ticket there is nothing to worry about in this situation. This error is indicating that the log partition on the node is getting full or is full, but SAN iQ version 9.0 is setup to automatically clean-up the log partition when it gets full.
