Hi,
A customer was updating CMC and now he sees the above warning.
He has 56 days left before he loses proper access to the systems.
As far as known systems were bought with permanent license, so why do we see this?
A couiple of monthe ago two systems were added to expand the storage capacity, could this be the reason?
Has the CMC update anything to do with it? Can we revert back in that case?
How can I find the capapcity licensed for this config?

Re: EID00000203 EID_LICENSE STATUS Changed
Hi
I have seen before systems with expired license stopped working after CMC upgrade
it seems that license policy was not enforced in older versions of CMC you check each
system and see who is causing license violation.
if possible you might try and revert to the old CMC.
Regards

How do we revert back to the previous version. I can imagine downgrading is not as straightforward as upgrading.

Re: EID00000203 EID_LICENSE STATUS Changed
found the reason for the message on the license.
After the update one of the nodes no longer has licenses. Before the update every node showed licenses.
No a way ti reinstall the licenses

Re: EID00000203 EID_LICENSE STATUS Changed
Hi
my understanding is that you only upgraded CMC
CMC is a standalone application and does not hold any data it can be installed on
any station that has access to the management address

Re: EID00000203 EID_LICENSE STATUS Changed
From the sytem logs it os seen the OS was patched too. One node lost license info as a result.
So it is most likely not the CMC but LH OS

Solutionhi
If you need to restore license and you know the HPE passport account the license was issued through
you can find the license in the portal.
https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com/cwp-ui/
if not try writing the portal support explaining your problem they
help if they can.
