HP StorageWorks P4000 Virtual SAN Appliance (BL460c G1 / D2200sb Storage Blade)

Hi,

I’m using the HP LeftHand Network Centralized Management Console and I can see some volumes that say "Unrecoverable I/O" in the status after the nodes were rebooted.

Due to this the datastores are not seen by my ESXi 5 hosts.

Does anyone know how I can troubleshoot and resolve this issue?

Thanks

You can run the "VOMA" command fro ESXi on the volume you have UIO. To resolve UIO the only was to fix it would be to create a new volume on your san and moveyour data from old volume to new volume using vmotion after you have run the VOMA. to get correct VOMA command suggest this link from VMWARE.
