HPE Storevirtual P4530 Upgrade fails
trying to upgrade my system through CMC, have managed to update the CMC to 12.7 with direct download. When upgrading download via HTTPS starts and downloads anything from 10mb to 300mb but the fails with https error. Tried going directly to the url specified in preferences but get a 403 error. can anyone advise if we can manually download the upgrades (previously could do via ftp). tried various times and every day for two week..
"Error occurred trying to connect to the https server ...."
test the https connection and always suceeds, start download again and will fail .
No proxy connect in use

Re: HPE Storevirtual P4530 Upgrade fails
Good to see I'm not the only one.
It might have something to do with their certificates. Although the 403 is normal when browsing from the web, it seems they might have forgotten to update the certs.
https://www.hpe.com - uses Symantec (SHA256)
https://downloads.hpe.com - uses DigiCert (SHA2)
Although not recommended, you can change to http downloads.
Please read up and ensure you understand the risks associated with downloading without using https.
In the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\HPE\StoreVirtual\UI\downloads\upgrades.xml" any URL https://downloads.hpe.com/pub/StoreVirtual/CMC/ to http://downloads.hpe.com/pub/StoreVirtual/CMC/

Event: EID_IP_ERRORS_EXCESSIVE E010A0401 Cluster: 'Excessive' packet loss. :-)
Haven't found a solution for that. In my opinion it could correlate with Flow Control settings......
It is only appearing when I'm running my backup at night!
Someone has a solution please tell me ;-)
