I can't suppress RAID6 config

Hello,

I've 2 VSA systems, on first RAID 5+Hot Spare config OK. On second one configuration was made in RAID6+Hot Spare.

I'am not enable to suppress RAID6 on second VSA. 2 VSA are the same.

Somebody knows how to suppress a RAID config in order to recreate it ?

Hi,

hm, there should be an option for online raid migration. If not possible, just put VSA in repair mode and power it off. Redo the Raid and delete and re attach the data discs to the VSA (pvirtual controller 1:x!).
Reconfigure the RAID on the VSA in CMC after power on and you should be good to go. Add it back to the MG and exchange it into the cluster.

We suppress disk configuration in maintenance mode and that's works. We could config aour disk again.

hello,

We received 3 new DL380G9 servers with P440 ctrl and  I can't suppress Raid made in factory. the smart array tool which creates Logical volume was newer than the one installed on server.

I need to install a fix
