Is HP's Left-hand SAN based on Dot-Hill?

I'm doing some researcs of Midrange storage and have read (somewhere in the forum)that the Left-hand SAN is a Dot-Hill OEM solution.
I want to have correct information when asked to brief it by my manager.

Thanks,

Louis

Not at all!

The P4000 is based on Lefthand Networks Inc. technology. HP bought that company a while ago and integrated it.

The MSA2000/P2000 product line is the result of a development partnership with DotHill. It means that HP does not simply buy hardware from DH and stamps a "HP" label on the box.

Thanks Uwe. My confusion was thinking the P4000 was same product line as p2000, just a newer more capacity and improved model.

Thanks for your response..
