Multisite Failover Hyperv cluster and Storevirtual
We have a two site, multi-site cluster. Using Win2012R2 hyperv. We also have 6 Store virtuals in a raid 10 cluster at each site. There is a FOM at a third site.
There is only one VIP for the iSCSI initiator. When the FOM move the that VIP to the other site, all my disks go offline and casuse my guests to crash.
When we have this failover, we must manually go to each host at the site, and clear ARP on all the hosts in the iSCSI network. Then the disks return, and we can begin to bring the guests up.
We have no idea why this happens., any help would be great.

Re: Multisite Failover Hyperv cluster and Storevirtual
Do you mean move vip from one site to another site ?
Did you try to shut one site ? can vip remain up ?

Re: Multisite Failover Hyperv cluster and Storevirtual
Hello Eagen,
please ensure you are following the Best Practices stated on Multi-site Desing and configration guide which can be found at:
https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=StoreVirtualSW
If the managers and Quorum is rigth configured we shuold not see any data outage.
Once verified that and if you are still facing volumes access issues please open a support case and we'll more than happy to assist you.
