Network Issue
we have 2 HP Procurve 2910al-24g switches .
We created a VLAN to be used for iscsi.
We configured jumbo frame on that vlan as well as on the P4000 ethernet ports .
Flow control is enabled
A trunk of two port has been set between the two switches.
With such configuration we configured each P4000 node with ALB bound.
Then we tried to create a management group but got many failures ( recv errors and similar ) .
At the end found that disconnecting a P4000 port on each node .
Is there something wrong in our settings ?
Can anyone provide a guide on this ?
thanks

Re: Network Issue
assign an ip address to vlan 10 on each switch, then from the cli, ping the other one.
Based on the running config, I take it your p4000 nodes are plugged into ports between 1 and 14 (as well as the servers attaching to them..)
Can you paste the output from show vlans..

Re: Network Issue
P4000 and servers are connected to ports 1-14
If I don't make a bound and assign an IP to each p4000's NIC I see no lost packets .
As soon as I make a bound some ping were lost.
Also when I try to create a MG I got the errors
Cannot connect to the switches now
thanks
