Hi,
I just setup a production environment... did all sort of testing before but did NOT test what would happen in the nodes are restripping and one of the nodes goes down.
What would happen?
I assume the restrip process would stop, but the volumes would still up.
Please advise. Thanks.

Solutiondepends on if the node is required for availability or not. You can know for sure by checking the node availability tab on the node to know for sure... if that is blank then that node can go down and no LUN will be affected, but if there are LUNs listed, those would have a problem if that specific node were to go offline.

Re: Node down during restripe?
I put together a lab to test.
1. As mentioned in the accepted answer, the availability tab says what will happen.
2. In my 3 nodes cluster, a node can go down while restripping and the cluster volumes are still up.
3. I even took down a second node, the cluster went down, but after bringing them up it did a rebuild, and then restarted the restrip without data loss.
Thanks.
