P4300 Cluster: Remove suspect node - no current FOM
Last week I had tried updating a P4300 4 node cluster from 8.5.x to 10.5.x. In the attempt the single FOM dropped never to come back online again. I then proceeded to create a FOM 10.5.x to be added to the cluster once I had upgrded the nodes, only to fail once more. This time, there is 1 node that is complaining that all Fans and Power supplies are bad. The alerts/diagnostic must be a false/positive as I have checked myself.
Cluster Info
4 - P4300
RAID5 Config
All volumes are RAID10 (2-Way Mirror)
Free Space 9%
Are there any recommendations on how to proceed from here?
Is it possible to remove the node from the cluster and restripe?
Is there somewhere I can get the ESX FOM 8.5.x ovf?
Thanks.

Re: P4300 Cluster: Remove suspect node - no current FOM
I have shutdown the suspet node and let it sit for 30min then powered it back on. The health is amber but fans are blowing as well as both PSUs.

Re: P4300 Cluster: Remove suspect node - no current FOM
contact support over that one.
As for the failure of the FOM during the upgrade. v10.5 is x64 while I think <v9.5 is all x32 so the FOM cannot be upgraded directly and HP says to remove the old FOM and reinstall a new one instead of upgrading it (as you did).
