Reclaiming unused blocks on Lefthand SAN

I have a couple of volumes that I've freed 100's of GB on. I understand that there is a disconnect between the file system and the block level, so the SAN doesn't know this. Is there any way though, that the unused blocks can now be relaimed as free space on the SAN? I don't want to have to go through multi TB file copies to move data to a new volume. That's the reason I abandoned DAS and went to the SAN in the first place. I know NetApp can do this.

Does HP have a solution for my thinly provisioned Lefthand volumes?

As far a I am aware the SANs do this automatically. At lease on my P4500s the free space goes up and down as I add and remove files on my VMs.

Paul is right.  The newer versions of SAN-IQ (8 and up if memory serves) do this automatically.

Thin provisioning works- where a block is not provisioned until use.  These are not automatically "un provisioned" like some other vendors. Storage will only go up, not down if that makes sense.
