SAN/iQ System Manager status on 'node...' = 'Down'.
Hello,
After an upgrade with the latest patches on a P4300 cluster of 2 nodes. We get the following messages:
Event Log (598) [01000000]: 2011 Jun 22 19:24:35 NODE....: E00030100 SAN/iQ System Manager status on 'NODE....' = 'Down'.
After a few seconds the following message appears:
Event Log (599) [01000000]: 2011 Jun 22 19:24:37 Node....: E00030102 SAN/iQ System Manager status on 'NODE....' = 'Up'.
We installed the latest patches on the cluster. Anyone with the same errors? Is there a solution?
Regards Robert Jongste

Re: SAN/iQ System Manager status on 'node...' = 'Down'.
Looks more like network issue.
Has it stabalised now ?
Was this present before the upgrade too ?

Hi I'm having the same error code - any thoughts to how I can test if it's network related?

Re: SAN/iQ System Manager status on 'node...' = 'Down'.
something that realy bothers me abot this message is the date of June 11, 2011
Try do something simple and adust the time on the nodes.
If you need to check for network errors you can run simple tests from the tcp/ip tab on one of the nodes or both.
You can also download the ipconfighist log from the logs files , use wordpad to read it.
If you upgraded from 9.0 to 9.5 you want to double check the network settings to make sure they didnt renegotiate to something else that you want them setup to.
