Service guide for P4500 G2 for cache battery replacement

Hi There.

 

I have a out of warranty P4500G2  which has a drive failure and also needs a cache battery replacement. Due to cost cutting measures the san won't be ut under support as it will be decommitioned within the nexy few months.

Could some one provide me with help on how to do the replacement as the service and maintenance guide for the SE1220 isn't publicly available.

Try the DL180 G6 service guide.

 

It is no rocket sicence ... shutdown the server, open the chassis, take out the pci cage, the battery is below this cage.
