Storage VMotion Fails or Timesout
I got an issue which is preventing us from moving the blade chassis to production. When we try to perform a storage vmotion of a virtual machine on a blade that has a VSA node on it, the storage vmotion crawls or timeouts. When we vmotion that virtual machine (move the cpu and memory) to a different blade that does not have a VSA node on it, the storage vmotion goes as intended by finishing within a couple of minutes. Have you seen anything on this? We are NOT trying to transfer a VM to or from the VSA datastore, it is from one NFS SAN to another NFS SAN. But we have isolated it be those blades that have a VSA node on them. Even if we shut the VSA node down and perform the storage vmotion the issue persists. Anyone have any suggestions? This is with VMware esxi 5.5 update 2.
Thanks!
